He then transferred to the Bombers in 1921 (after initially attracting interest from South Melbourne but he was residentially bound to Essendon) before returning to Williamstown during 1922 after four games that season with Essendon. The Essendon Football Club, nicknamed the Bombers, is a professional Australian rules football club. The club plays in the Australian Football League (AFL), the game's premier competition. The Sydney Swans are a professional Australian rules football club based in Sydney, New South Wales.
