Les Diablerets (Ormont-Dessus)
Les Diablerets is a village and ski resort located in the municipality of Ormont-Dessus in the canton of Vaud, Switzerland. The village lies at an altitude of on the north side of the massif of the Diablerets, , in the Swiss Alps. It can be accessed by train ( Chemin de fer Aigle-Sepey-Diablerets) or by road from Aigle. The Col du Pillon (1,546 m) on the east give access to the Bernese Oberland region and is the Glacier 3000 cable car lowest station. The resort has a ski school, hotels and a small town centre. Les Diablerets is known for its traditional mountain architecture. Les Diablerets is home to the Diablerets Alpine Centre (DAC), an official SwissSki alpine training and performance centre. Diablerets Et Diablerets
The Diablerets (french: Les Diablerets; lit. "the abode of devils") are a huge ice-covered mountain massif of the Alps, culminating at the Sommet des Diablerets (VD, VS) at above sea level and straddling the border between the Swiss cantons of Vaud (VD) and Valais (VS). The northeastern part of the massif stretches also into the canton of Bern (BE). The Diablerets massif, which consists of several peaks, extends for about 10 kilometres near the western extremity of the Bernese Alps, between the two deep passes, the Cheville Pass () right below the main summit to the south, and the Sanetsch/Sénin Pass () to the east. Oldehore
The Oldenhorn ( Swiss German: ''Oldehore''; french: L'Oldenhorn or ''Becca d'Audon'') is a mountain in the western Bernese Alps in Switzerland. The summit is the tripoint between the cantons of Vaud, Berne and Valais. The Oldenhorn is the second highest peak of the massif of the Diablerets and canton of Vaud. Scex Rouge
The Scex Rouge (also spelled ''Sex Rouge''; lit. "red rock"; ) is a mountain of the Alps, overlooking Les Diablerets in the canton of Vaud. Along with the Oldenhorn to the east, it is one of the main peaks of the Diablerets, a huge ice-covered mountain near the western end of the Bernese Alps, straddling the border between the cantons of Vaud, Valais, and Bern, and exceeding above sea level. On its west side, the Scex Rouge is part of a nearly amphitheatre of cliffs surrounding the Creux de Champ valley, south of Les Diablerets. On its southeast side, the Scex Rouge overlooks the Tsanfleuron Glacier, the largest in the massif. Glacier 3000 (officially Gstaad 3000 AG) is a company that operates several cable cars and ski lifts in the region of the Diablerets in western Switzerland. It was created in 2005 and took over the assets of the then bankrupt ''Glacier 3000 Région Les Diablerets-Gstaad S.A.'' (founded in 1993). The company is now based in Gstaad. Col du Pillon (el. 1546 m) is a mountain pass in the western Swiss Alps, linking Aigle, Le Sépey and Les Diablerets in the canton of Vaud with Gstaad in the canton of Berne.
