Leroy Cudjoe
Leroy Cudjoe (born 7 April 1988) is an English professional rugby league footballer who plays as a for the Huddersfield Giants in the Betfred Super League. A product of the Huddersfield academy system, he also captained Huddersfield as well as representing England, he has played his whole Super League career to date with Huddersfield, playing as a er and earlier in his career. Early life Cudjoe was born in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, England and is of Grenadian descent, where his father's family originated. Leroy attended Newsome High School and Sports College, and played junior rugby league for the Newsome Panthers. He joined the Huddersfield Giants Academy at the age of 16. Domestic career Huddersfield Giants Cudjoe was awarded a full-time contract with the Giants at the end of the 2006 season. Huddersfield
Huddersfield is a market town in the Kirklees district in West Yorkshire, England. It is the administrative centre and largest settlement in the Kirklees district. The town is in the foothills of the Pennines. The River Holme's confluence into the similar-sized Colne to the south of the town centre which then flows into the Calder in the north eastern outskirts of the town. The rivers around the town provided soft water required for textile treatment in large weaving sheds, this made it a prominent mill town with an economic boom in the early part of the Victorian era Industrial Revolution. The town centre has much neoclassical Victorian architecture, one example is which is a Grade I listed building – described by John Betjeman as "the most splendid station façade in England" – and won the Europa Nostra award for architecture.
