Leroy Blunt
Herschel Leroy Blunt (December 3, 1921 – March 21, 2016) was an American farmer and politician who served in the Missouri House of Representatives. Blunt was born near Marshfield, Missouri in Webster County, the son of Bessie J. (Muncy) and Benjamin Lee Blunt. He attended public schools in Conway, Missouri, and the University of Missouri. In 1942 he married Neva Letterman. He served in the Missouri House of Representatives for district 140 as a Republican from 1979 to 1986. He was the father of U.S. Senator from Missouri and former U.S. Representative Roy Blunt. Roy's son, Matt Blunt, is a former Governor of Missouri. In his first race in 1978, he beat out Betty Anne McCaskill, mother of future Senator Claire McCaskill, who would later unsuccessfully run against Matt Blunt in the 2004 gubernatorial election, and serve with Roy in Senate from 2011 to 2019. Paul Busiek
Paul Joseph Busiek (, April 1, 1923 – April 18, 2016) was an American doctor and politician who served in the Missouri House of Representatives. Busiek attended Drury College and Washington University in St. Louis, earning his medical degree at the latter. He did an internship in Rochester, New York and at a children's hospital in St. Louis before opening up a private practice in Springfield, Missouri. Marshfield is a city in Missouri and the county seat of Webster County, Missouri. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 6,633. As of the 2020 census, Marshfield had a population of 7,458. Roy Dean Blunt (born January 10, 1950) is an American politician serving as the senior United States senator for Missouri, a seat he was first elected to in 2010. A member of the Republican Party, he previously served as the 33rd Missouri Secretary of State (1985–1993) and U.S. Representative for Missouri's 7th congressional district (1997–2011). Born in Niangua, Missouri, Blunt is a graduate of Southwest Baptist University and Southwest Missouri State University (now Missouri State University). Claire Conner McCaskill (; born July 24, 1953) is an American politician who served as a United States Senator from Missouri from 2007 to 2019 and as State Auditor of Missouri from 1999 to 2007.
