Leroy A. Mendonca
Leroy A. Mendonca (August 2, 1932 – July 4, 1951) was a soldier in the United States Army during the Korean War. He posthumously received the Medal of Honor for his actions on July 4, 1951. Early life Leroy was born in Honolulu, Territory of Hawaii, on 2 August 1932, and was of Portuguese ancestry. While attending President William McKinley High School, he was an AJROTC cadet, and graduated in 1950. Grenade
A grenade is an explosive weapon typically thrown by hand (also called hand grenade), but can also refer to a shell (explosive projectile) shot from the muzzle of a rifle (as a rifle grenade) or a grenade launcher. Military Sealift Command (MSC) is an organization that controls the replenishment and military transport ships of the United States Navy.
