She is the best-selling female recording artist from the former Yugoslavia. Lepa Brena grew up in Brčko, Bosni ... in 2003. Even though her albums date back to 1981, many of the songs on this album are remastered and several are even rerecorded, so the versions are totally different from their originals. Milan Popović (; born 29 October 1955), better known as Danijel Popović () or simply Daniel (), is a Montenegrin-Croatian pop singer. Biography Born to a Montenegrin father and a Belgian mother, Popović was raised in Titograd, but made his name in Zagreb, where he moved in 1977 to pursue a career in pop music. In 1983, as a regional representative of Montenegro ( TV Titograd), he won the right to represent Yugoslavia in the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Džuli" (''Julie''). Alija "Alen" Islamović (; born 17 August 1957) is a Bosnian rock vocalist. He is best known as the lead singer of Bosnian and Yugoslav rock bands Divlje jagode from 1979 to 1986 and Bijelo Dugme from 1986 to 1989. Born Alija Islamović in Bihać into a Bosniak family from the nearby village of Sokolac where he'd spend the first two and a half years of his infancy, the youngster grew up with an older brother.
