844 Leontina, provisional designation 1916 AP, is a stony asteroid from the outer region of the asteroid belt, about 36 kilometers in diameter. It was discovered on 1 October 1916, by Austrian astronomer Joseph Rheden at Vienna Observatory, Austria. Description ''Leontina'' is an X-type asteroid in the SMASS classification. It orbits the Sun at a distance of 3.0–3.4 AU once every 5 years and 9 months (2,097 days). Its orbit is tilted by 9 degrees to the plane of the ecliptic and shows an eccentricity of 0.07. Multiple lightcurve analysis rendered a well-defined, concurring rotation period of 6.79 hours. According to the surveys carried out by the Japanese Akari satellite and the U.S. Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer with its subsequent NEOWISE mission, measurements of the body's brightness gave a divergent albedo of 0.13, 0.20 and 0.31, respectively. Leontina Vukomanović ( sr-cyr, Леонтина Вукомановић; born 13 November 1970), known mononymously as Leontina, is a Serbian singer, blogger, composer and songwriter. Biography She started with professional music in school days (secondary music school Josip Slavenski, 1986, when she published her first songs and for whom she entrusted protection to SOKOJ). Parallel to education at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade (1989–1993) she participated as a composer and songwriter in the domestic Eurovision Song Contest '91. and '92. and as a vocal soloist she won awards for interpretation at the festivals Mesam and Belgrade Spring '92. year with his own compositions. In 2004, she wrote lyrics for song "Lane moje", performed by Serbian musician Željko Joksimović at the Eurovision Song Contest 2004 representing Serbia and Montenegro. Leontina Albina Espinoza
Leontina Judith Albina Espinoza (1925 – August 7, 1998) was a woman from Colina, Chile, who was claimed to be the world's most prolific mother. She entered the ''Guinness Book of Records'' in 1983, which reported that she had given birth to 58 children. According to her husband Gerardo Secundo Albina, the couple were married in 1946 in Argentina, and had five sets of triplets – all boys – before emigrating to Chile. By the late 1980s "only" 40 of the children – 24 boys and 16 girls – were said to be still alive, and the Associated Press reported that 18 of them were still living with the couple in their cramped two-room shack on the outskirts of Santiago. Leontina Vaduva (Romanian: Leontina Văduva; born in Roșiile, on December 1, 1960) is an acclaimed Romanian soprano. She studied at the Bucharest Conservatory and with Ileana Cotrubaș, and debuted in the title role of ''Manon'' at Toulouse, in 1987. A recipient of the Laurence Olivier Opera Award, she has often appeared at Covent Garden, in ''Rigoletto'' (opposite Ingvar Wixell and Jerry Hadley, 1989), ''Carmen'' (as Micaëla, 1991 and 1994), and ''Roméo et Juliette'' (1994). Leontina Vaduva is the daughter of the Romanian popular music singer Maria Ciobanu. In 2000, Vaduva appeared at the Metropolitan Opera, in six performances of ''La bohème'' (as Mimì, with Luis Lima).
