Leonel Moreira
Leonel Gerardo Moreira Ledezma (born 2 April 1990) is a Costa Rican professional goalkeeper who plays for Liga FPD club Alajuelense and the Costa Rica national team. Club career Moreira came through the Herediano youth system and has only played for the ''Florenses''. International career Moreira was in Costa Rica's 2007 FIFA U-17 World Cup squad. He made his senior debut for Costa Rica in a July 2011 Copa América match against Colombia and has, as of May 2014, earned a total of 5 caps, scoring no goals. He was a non-playing squad member at the 2011 and 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cups. In May 2018 he was named in Costa Rica's 23 man squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. Heredia, Costa Rica
Heredia () is a district in the Heredia canton of Heredia province, Costa Rica. As the seat of the municipality of Heredia canton, it is awarded the status of city, and by virtue of being the city of the first canton, it is the Province Capital of Heredia province as well. It is 10 kilometers to the north of the country's capital, San José. The city is home to one of the largest colleges in Costa Rica, the National University of Costa Rica, which accepts many international students. 2016–17 Liga FPD
The 2015–16 Costa Rican FPD is the 96th season of the Costa Rican top-flight football league. It is divided in two championships: the Invierno and Verano seasons. Format The season format was changed from previous years. The season will still be split into two tournaments, the Invierno and Verano. Also, each tournament's regular stage will still consist of a double-round robin. However, the top four teams from the regular stage will advance to a "quadrangular" double-round robin instead of a play-off stage. If the team with the most points in regular stage finishes with the most points in the quadrangular, they will automatically win the tournament. The 2022 CONCACAF League (officially the 2022 Scotiabank CONCACAF League for sponsorship purposes) will be the sixth and final edition of the CONCACAF League, a football club competition organized by CONCACAF, the regional governing body of North America, Central America, and the Caribbean. The 2020 CONCACAF League (officially the 2020 Scotiabank CONCACAF League for sponsorship purposes) was the fourth edition of the CONCACAF League, a football club competition organized by CONCACAF, the regional governing body of North America, Central America, and the Caribbean. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, CONCACAF announced on 23 June 2020 that the start of the tournament, which was scheduled to begin on 28 July 2020 and end in November, had been postponed. On 7 August 2020, they announced the tournament would begin on 20 October and end on 28 January 2021.
