Leonardo Conti
Leonardo Conti (; 24 August 1900 – 6 October 1945) was the Reich Health Leader in Nazi Germany. The killing of many Germans who were of "unsound mind" is attributed to his leadership. Early life Conti was born to a Swiss Italian father, Silvio, and a German mother, Nanna Pauli; his mother later became the Reich Midwifery Leader in Nazi Germany. Conti later studied medicine at the Humboldt University of Berlin and the University of Erlangen–Nuremberg. He became active in the '' völkisch'' movement and the Viking League, and co-founded an antisemitic paper called ''Kampfbund'' ("Struggle league"). He took part in the Kapp Putsch in 1920. From 1923 he was a member of the ''Sturmabteilung'' (SA), becoming their first physician; one of his patients was Horst Wessel, who, after being killed in a street shootout with German communists, became a martyr of the Nazi Party. The National Socialist German Doctors' League (''Nationalsozialistischer Deutscher Ärztebund'', abbreviated as NSDÄB or NSD-Ärztebund) was a division of the Nazi Party with the mission of integrating the German medical profession within the framework of the Nazi worldview. Amphetamine and methamphetamine are central nervous system stimulants used to treat a variety of conditions. Hermann Wilhelm Göring (or Goering; ; 12 January 1893 – 15 October 1946) was a German politician, military leader and convicted war criminal. Horst Wessel
Horst Ludwig Georg Erich Wessel (9 October 1907 – 23 February 1930) was a Berlin ''Sturmführer'' ("Assault Leader", the lowest commissioned officer rank) of the ''Sturmabteilung'' (SA), the Nazi Party's stormtroopers. After his killing in 1930, he was made into a martyr for the Nazi cause by Joseph Goebbels. Wessel first joined a number of youth groups and extreme right-wing paramilitary groups, but later resigned from them and joined the SA, the brownshirted street-fighting stormtroopers of the Nazi Party. He rose to command several SA squads and districts. On 14 January 1930, he was shot in the head by two members of the Communist Party of Germany (KPD). Albrecht Höhler, Albrecht "Ali" Höhler was arrested and charged with his murder.
