Leonard Wester (born January 3, 1993) is a former American football offensive tackle. He played Division II college football at Missouri Western. Professional career Tampa Bay Buccaneers On April 30, 2016, Wester signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after going undrafted in the 2016 NFL Draft. Jacksonville Jaguars On April 4, 2019, Wester signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars. He was waived/injured during final roster cuts on August 31, 2019 and reverted to the team's injured reserve list the next day. He was waived from injured reserve with an injury settlement on September 6. The Missouri Western Griffons are the sports teams of Missouri Western State University located in St. Joseph, Missouri. They participate in the NCAA's Division II and in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA). Sports sponsored Football Football at Missouri is played at Spratt Stadium. The injured reserve list ( IR list) is a designation used in North American professional sports leagues for athletes who suffer injuries and become unable to play. The exact name of the list varies by league; it is known as "injured reserve" in the National Football League (NFL) and National Hockey League (NHL), the "injured list" in the Canadian Football League (CFL), and the injured list (historically known as the "disabled list") in Major League Baseball (MLB). The National Basketball Association (NBA) does not have a direct analog to an injured reserve list, instead using a more general-purpose "inactive list" that does not require a player to be injured. Injured reserve lists are used because the rules of these leagues allow for only a certain numbers of players on each team's roster.
