Leonard Fons
Leonard C. Fons (October 30, 1903May 25, 1956) was an American lawyer and Republican politician. He was a member of the Wisconsin State Senate from 1931 to 1935 representing southern Milwaukee County. Biography Fons was born on October 30, 1903, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. His father, Louis Fons, was also a member of the Senate, having represented the 8th District. Fons went to Marquette University High School and Campion High School in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. He then graduated from Marquette University and received his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center. Fons practiced law in Milwaukee. Wisconsin's 7th State Senate District
The 7th Senate district of Wisconsin is one of 33 districts in the Wisconsin State Senate. Located in southeast Wisconsin, the district comprises eastern and southeastern Milwaukee County, including downtown, south side, and lakeshore areas of the city of Milwaukee, as well as the cities of Cudahy, Oak Creek, South Milwaukee, and St. Francis, and part of the city of Franklin. Prairie du Chien () is a city in and the county seat of Crawford County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 5,506 at the 2020 census. Its ZIP Code is 53821. Often referred to as Wisconsin's second oldest city, Prairie du Chien was established as a European settlement by French voyageurs in the late seventeenth century. Roland (; frk, *Hrōþiland; lat-med, Hruodlandus or ''Rotholandus''; it, Orlando or ''Rolando''; died 15 August 778) was a Frankish military leader under Charlemagne who became one of the principal figures in the literary cycle known as the Matter of France. The historical Roland was military governor of the Breton March, responsible for defending Francia's frontier against the Bretons. Thaddeus Francis Boleslaw Wasielewski (December 2, 1904 – April 25, 1976) was an American lawyer from Milwaukee, Wisconsin who spent six years as a Democratic Party (United States), Democratic United States House of Representatives, U.S. Representative from Wisconsin's 4th congressional district. Background Wasielewski was born in Milwaukee, son of Dr. Frank S. and Felicia H. (Baranowski) Wasielewski. He attended SS. Cyril and Methodius Parochial School and South Division High School, and received degrees from the University of Michigan (B.A., 1927) and from Marquette University Law School (J.D., 1931) and practiced law in Milwaukee.
