Lennart Rönnberg
Major General Erik Lennart Rönnberg (21 November 1938 – 25 December 2022) was a Swedish Army officer. His senior commands include postings as Chief of the Army Staff and of the General Staff Corps (1990–1994) and Chief of Staff of the Middle Military District (1994–1995). Early life Rönnberg was born on 21 November 1938 in Fjällsjö Parish, Strömsund Municipality, Sweden, the son of Albin Rönnberg and his wife Hilda (née Viklund). Rönnberg became an officer candidate in Västernorrland Regiment on 28 August 1960 and he graduated from Military Academy Karlberg in 1961. Career Rönnberg was commissioned as an officer with then rank second lieutenant and assigned to Västernorrland Regiment on 1 September 1961. Strömsund Municipality
Strömsund Municipality (, ) is a municipality in Jämtland County in northern Sweden. Its seat is located in Strömsund. The nearest larger city is Östersund, the provincial capital of Jämtland, which is located approximately 100 km to the south. History Strömsund Municipality was formed in 1974 through the amalgamation of the former municipalities of Fjällsjö, Frostviken, Hammerdal and Ström. The most populous locality in the area, Strömsund, was chosen as administrative centre, and it also gave its name to the new entity. Major (Maj) ( sv, Major, Mj) is a field grade military officer rank in the Swedish Armed Forces, above the rank of captain and below the rank of lieutenant colonel. It is equivalent to the naval rank of lieutenant commander in the Swedish Navy. The United Nations Emergency Force Medal was a service medal of the United Nations for service in the United Nations Emergency Force between 7 November 1956 and 19 May 1967. History In 1956, Egypt came into conflict with the combined forces of Israel, France, and the United Kingdom resulting in the Suez Crisis. Sundbyberg Church
Sundbyberg Church is the main church of Sundbyberg, in Sweden, and is a part of the Church of Sweden. It is located in Central Sundbyberg, on Rosengatan 15. Opened in 1911, it was built in a Swedish church building architecture after drawings of architect Axel Sjögren (1877-1962). History The construction of the Sundbyberg church, known for its stained glass panels, began in 1909, once since the beginning of that year it was already clear that community would form their own congregation.
