Lennart Häggroth
Hans Lennart Häggroth (2 March 1940 – 28 August 2016) was a Swedish ice hockey player. A goaltender, he won a world and European title in 1962, finishing second at the 1963 World Championships and 1964 Olympics. Häggroth was a back-up for Kjell Svensson, and hence capped only 65 times for the national team between 1960 and 1965. Before the 1962 World Championships, Svensson got injured, but Häggroth did fine, helping win the tournament and becoming its best goaltender. After retiring from hockey, Häggroth became a social worker, helping drug addicts and alcoholics. He died on 28 August 2016 at his home. Övertorneå
Övertorneå ( fit, Matarengi; fi, Matarenki) is a urban areas of Sweden, locality and the seat of Övertorneå Municipality in Norrbotten County, Sweden with 1,917 inhabitants in 2010. It is located at the shore of the Torne River, opposite to their Finnish twin town Ylitornio. Övertorneå means "Upper Torneå", based on a division of the Tornio, Torneå parish in two parts in the 16th century. Until the border between Sweden and Finland was drawn at the Torne River in 1809, the two villages on both sides of the river were one. From 1809 till 1917, this represented the Swedish border to Russia. Skellefteå (, locally ) is a city in Västerbotten County, Sweden. It is the seat of Skellefteå Municipality, which had 73,246 inhabitants in 2021. The city is historically industrial, with mining being a large part of that industry, especially for gold, leading to the city being nicknamed ''Guldstaden'' ("gold town"). Politically, Skellefteå is a Social Democratic stronghold. The city is a well-known ice hockey town, with its main team Skellefteå AIK playing in the Swedish top division: the SHL, which they have won on several occasions; most recently in 2014. The city was incorporated in 1845 and grew to its current population size in the 1950s and 1960s, growing only slowly since. Kjell Gustaf Svensson (born 10 September 1938) is a retired Swedish ice hockey goaltender. He competed at the 1960 and 1964 Olympics and finished in fifth and second place, respectively. He won the world title in 1962, finishing second in 1963 and 1967 and third in 1965. Nationally he won only one title, with Södertälje SK in 1956, but was selected to the Swedish all-star teams in 1960–61 and 1963–64.
