Lench Mob Records
Lench Mob Records is an record label owned by Los Angeles rapper and actor Ice Cube. Founded as Street Knowledge Records, it was once home to many of Cube's former allies such as DJ Pooh, and Lench Mob's own Chilly Chill, Del the Funky Homosapien, Kam, Yo-Yo and the group Da Lench Mob. The label, established in 1990, remained dormant for a long period until a revival in 2006 with the release of Ice Cube's album ''Laugh Now, Cry Later''. Lench Mob Records also distributes Bigg Swang Records home to WC, DJ Crazy Toones, Young Maylay and Tha Trapp. Hallway Productionz have produced multiple tracks for the label's two major artists. An ice cube is a small piece of ice, which is typically rectangular as viewed from above and trapezoidal as viewed from the side. Ice cubes are products of mechanical refrigeration and are usually produced to cool beverages. They may be produced at home in a freezer with an ice tray or in an automated ice-making accessory. They may also be produced industrially and sold commercially. Origin of production American physician and inventor John Gorrie built a refrigerator in 1844 with the purpose of producing ice to cool air. His refrigerator produced ice which hung from the ceiling in a basin to lower the ambient room temperature. During his time, bad air quality was thought to cause disease. ''Laugh Now, Cry Later'' is the seventh studio album by rapper Ice Cube, released on June 6, 2006. It is Ice Cube's first album to be released on his independently owned record label Lench Mob Records, Virgin Records, and EMI. This album is his first studio album in six years since his previous album, '' War & Peace Vol. 2 (The Peace Disc)''. ''Ass, Gas or Cash (No One Rides for Free)'' is the only solo studio album by the American rapper K-Dee. It was released on November 15, 1994, via Lench Mob Records. Recording sessions took place at Lench Mob Studios in Los Angeles, California, with producers Ice Cube, Madness 4 Real, Vic C., 88 X Unit, Shaquille, D Mac and Laylaw. K-Dee
Darrell L. Johnson, also known as K-Dee, formerly Kid Disaster and D-Rock-D, (born May 24, 1969), is an American rapper most known for his album ''Ass, Gas, or Cash (No One Rides for Free)''. His first two singles were released under the name D-Rock-D. Those two songs "My Fresh Nissan" and "Killer Daytons" were released in 1986 and 1987 and appear on the compilation album ''West Coast Rap-thology''. He then came into wider prominence in the hip hop scene with fellow West Coast rapper, Ice Cube in the group C.I.A. ''Neva Again'' is the debut studio album by West Coast hip hop recording artist Kam. It was released in 1993 via Street Knowledge Records and EastWest Records America. The production on the album was handled by QDIII, Madness 4 Real, Sir Jinx, Laylaw, D'Mag, and Ice Cube himself. ''Guerillas in tha Mist'' is the debut studio album by American hip hop group Da Lench Mob, who originally appeared on Ice Cube's debut solo album, ''AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted''. The titular "Guerillas in tha Mist" was a hit at the release of the album. The album was produced by Ice Cube, who is also featured throughout the album though uncredited.
