Len Buckeridge
Leonard Walter Buckeridge (15 June 1936 – 11 March 2014) was an Australian businessman known for founding the Buckeridge Group of Companies. Early life Buckeridge attended Perth Modern School then trained as an architect at Perth Technical College. In his final year of studies Buckeridge won the James Hardie Prize for his thesis "The Economical House". Career Buckeridge built high-rise buildings in Perth and elsewhere through his company, Buckeridge Group of Companies. He also owned James Point Pty Ltd. In September 2012, Buckeridge sued a former Forklift, fork-lift driver who allegedly posted defamatory comments on Facebook about him. The former employee was backed by United Voice. In November 2012, he sued the Government of Western Australia for 1 1,000,000,000, billion regarding a delay in construction on Cockburn Sound. Mosman Park, Western Australia
Mosman Park is a western suburb of Perth, Western Australia on the north bank of the Swan River in the local government area of the Town of Mosman Park. It was historically known as Buckland Hill (1889-1909), then Cottesloe Beach (1909-1930) and again Buckland Hill (1930-1937). From 1937 it was named Mosman Park, derived from Mosman in Sydney, the birthplace of Richard Yeldon, a member of the Buckland Hill Road Board. Mosman Park is now considered an affluent suburb, but prior to the 1970s was one of Perth's major industrial centres. Colin Barnett
Colin James Barnett (born 15 July 1950) is a former Australian politician who was the 29th Premier of Western Australia. He concurrently served as the state's Treasurer at several points during his tenure and had previously held various other portfolios in Western Australia's Court–Cowan Ministry. Barnett was born in Nedlands, Perth. He graduated from the University of Western Australia with an economics degree. Having lectured in economics at the Western Australian Institute of Technology and served as an executive director of the Western Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, he was elected to the Western Australian Legislative Assembly for the seat of Cottesloe at a by-election in 1990. The Supreme Court of Western Australia is the highest state court in the Australian State of Western Australia. It has unlimited jurisdiction within the state in civil matters (although it usually only hears matters involving sums of A$750,000 or more), and hears the most serious criminal matters.
