Len Boone
Len Boone (a.k.a. Leonard Boone C Coleman II) is an American singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He was a singer/songwriter for Chrysalis Records and Love- Zager Productions and many of his songs charted on ''Billboard''. While still an intern at Chrysalis, he wrote the international hit single “You Made Me Believe in Magic” (Arista Records) for the album '' It’s a Game'' by the Scottish Pop band, the Bay City Rollers. In 1977, the song reached number 10 on the US Hot 100 in ''Billboard'' magazine and number 7 on the ''Cash Box'' Top 100 charts. In Canada, “You Made Me Believe in Magic” peaked at number 5, and still ranks as their 68th greatest hit of 1977. The song also charted in Germany, the UK, Australia, and New Zealand. "You Made Me Believe in Magic" also won Boone a plaque from ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers). Chrysalis Records () is a British record label that was founded in 1968. The name is both a reference to the pupal stage of a butterfly and a combination of its founders' names, Chris Wright and Terry Ellis. It started as the Ellis-Wright Agency. ''Sharing Your Love'' is the third studio album by the Italian/U.S. ensemble Change. It was released in 1982 and reached number sixty-six on the US ''Billboard'' Album Chart and fourteen on the US ''Billboard'' Black Albums chart. ''Sharing Your Love'' includes the singles "The Very Best in You", " Oh What a Night", "Sharing Your Love", "Hard Times (It's Gonna Be Alright)" and "Keep On It" (in Italy only). Change is an Italian-American post-disco group formed in Bologna, Italy, in 1979 by businessman and executive producer Jacques Fred Petrus (1948–1987) and Mauro Malavasi (born 1957). They were heavily influenced by the disco band Chic. The current incarnation of the group formed in 2018. Career Concept Change was initially formed in early 1979 as a studio band with a revolving stable of musicians, led by businessman and executive producer Jacques Fred Petrus, with the majority of songwriting and production carried out by Mauro Malavasi and Davide Romani. Elusion
Elusion was a female R&B group that consisted of two separate sets of identical twin sisters, Tamica and Tanya Johnson, and Michelle and Marie Harris. They only released one album as a group, ''Think About It'' in 1998. Michelle and Marie were born in San Diego, California while Tamica and Tanya are from Selma, Alabama. Cotillion Records was a subsidiary of Atlantic Records (from 1971 part of WEA) and was active from 1968 through 1985. The label was formed as an outlet for pop, R&B, and jazz. Dee Edwards (singer)
Doris Jean Harrell (June 19, 1945 – January 25, 2006), who recorded professionally under the name Dee Edwards, was an American singer. Biography Edwards was married to the arranger Floyd Jones, and they collaborated on some songs that Guido Marasco released on his GM and Bumpshop record labels in 1970, releasing "Say It Again With Feeling". Career Aurora Block was born in Princeton and grew up in Manhattan.
