Lemos Theater
The Lemos Theatrical Company was a theatrical company formed in 1944. It is named after the actor Adamantios Lemos. The founding of Thiasos Lemos On June 14, 1944, Adamantios Lemos and Mary Giatra Lemou founded the Lemos Theatrical Company. Lemos was still with the armed forces in the Middle East when he was in exile and was unable to have a theatrical company that has his own name, the theatrical company was actually known as Mairi Lemou Company. (In June 1944, Maria Giatra Lemou resigned from the '' Armed Forces Recreational Council'' and ran as a main company in which Adamantios Lemos acted and directed 23 works. Theatrical Company
Theatre or theater is a collaborative form of performing art that uses live performers, usually actors or actresses, to present the experience of a real or imagined event before a live audience in a specific place, often a stage. Vassilis Rotas (1889–1977) was a Greek politician, author and translator of Shakespeare's dramas from English into Greek. Messolongi
Missolonghi or Messolonghi ( el, Μεσολόγγι, ) is a municipality of 34,416 people (according to the 2011 census) in western Greece. Gregorios Xenopoulos ( el, Γρηγόριος Ξενόπουλος; December 9, 1867 – 14 January 1951) was a novelist, journalist and playwright from Zakynthos. He was lead editor in the magazine ''The Education of Children'' (Η Διάπλασις των Παίδων) during the period from 1896 to 1948, during which time he was also the magazine's main author. Pantelis Horn
Pantelis Horn ( gr, Παντελής Χορν; 1 January 1881–1 November 1941) was a Greek naval officer and playwright, one of the few Greek writers of the early 20th century who devoted themselves solely to theatre. He produced works in the naturalist style. Horn was born in Trieste to an Austrian father and a Greek mother. Horn also served as an officer in the Hellenic Navy, graduating in 1899 from the Hellenic Naval Academy.
