"Lemonade" is a song by American rapper Gucci Mane, and the third official single from his sixth studio album ''The State vs. Radric Davis'' (2009). The single was released in December 2009 and was produced by Bangladesh. The song interpolates and samples "Keep It Warm" by comedy rock duo Flo & Eddie, from their 1976 album '' Moving Targets'', and incorporates the voices of children singing the song's chorus. Reception AllMusic said: "Some of the best beats on ''The State vs. Radric Davis'' come by way of Bangladesh, who drops some seriously roll slowing Atlanta heat on "Lemonade". ''Now'' commented: "One song on the album is simply about the color yellow." Gucci Mane
Radric Delantic Davis (born February 12, 1980), known professionally as Gucci Mane, is an American rapper and record executive. He helped pioneer the hip hop subgenre of trap music alongside fellow Atlanta-based rappers T.I. and Young Jeezy, particularly in the 2000s and 2010s. In 2005, Gucci Mane debuted with ''Trap House'', followed by his second album, '' Hard to Kill'' in 2006. His third studio album ''Back to the Trap House'' was released in 2007. Following a string of critically and commercially successful mixtape releases in 2009, Gucci Mane released his fourth studio album, ''The State vs. Radric Davis'', his first gold-certified album. John David Jackson (born November 18, 1977), better known by his stage name Fabolous, is an American rapper. Raised in Brooklyn, he first gained recognition while still a senior in high school, when he performed live on American music executive DJ Clue's radio show, then on WQHT, Hot 97. Jackson subsequently signed to DJ Clue's Desert Storm Records, Desert Storm imprint, and later secured a distribution deal with major-label, Elektra Records, Elektra. James Edward Johnson III (born June 6, 2000), known professionally as BabyTron, is an American rapper and songwriter. Known for his punchlines and beat selection, he initially gained popularity in 2019 with his track "Jesus Shuttleworth".
