Lembang Park
Lembang is a town and administrative village of West Bandung Regency in the province of Jawa Barat, West Java on Java (island), Java, Indonesia. The town has about 17,000 inhabitants (at census 2010). The population of the Lembang District was 173,350 at the 2010 Census. Lembang is situated between 1,312 and 2,084 meters above sea level. West Bandung Regency
West Bandung Regency (''Kabupaten Bandung Barat'') is a landlocked regency of West Java. It was established in 2007, formerly it was part of Bandung Regency. The capital of this new regency is Ngamprah, an industrial district on the west side of Bandung. It is part of the Bandung Metropolitan Area. The area of the regency is 1,305.77 km2 and the population was 1,506,448 at the 2010 Census and 1,788,336 at the 2020 Census. The official estimate as at mid 2021 was 1,814,226. Tangkuban Perahu
Tangkuban Perahu (also Tangkuban Parahu) is a stratovolcano 30 km north of the city of Bandung, the provincial capital of West Java, Indonesia. It erupted in 1826, 1829, 1842, 1846, 1896, 1910, 1926, 1929, 1952, 1957, 1961, 1965, 1967, 1969, 1983, 2013 and 2019. It is a popular tourist attraction where tourists hike or ride to the edge of the crater to view the hot water springs and boiling mud up close, and buy eggs cooked on the hot surface. Together with Mount Burangrang and Bukit Tunggul, it is a remnant of the ancient Mount Sunda after the plinian eruption caused the Caldera to collapse. Lembang Fault
The Lembang Fault (Indonesian: Sesar Lembang) is an active fault located 10 km north of the city of Bandung on the Indonesian island of Java. This sinistral slip fault is estimated to measure 29 km in length. While no historical earthquakes have occurred, the fault is thought to be possible of generating a magnitude () 6.5 to 7.0 earthquake in the future. Because of the potential for large and damaging earthquakes on the fault, the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) has been monitoring activity on the fault. Activity Paleoseismic trenching along the fault in a 2019 study uncovered three earthquakes in the 15th century, 2300–60 BCE and 19,620–19,140 BP with a recurrence interval of 170 to 670 years. Cisarua
Cisarua is a location and district in the Bogor Regency, located in the province of West Java, with a population of 127,096 in 2020. The district is known for its mild climate, tea fields, and extensive views, being located in a rather high altitude. Near the district is a mountain pass known for its villas, hostels, as well as a well-known "heritage" hotel known as the "Puncak Pass", built in 1928. Cisarua is also known due to the relatively high population of the Middle East and the use of Indonesian Arabic as well having a sizeable population of asylum seekers and refugees, mainly coming from Afghanistan and Pakistan, as well as ones coming from parts of Africa, mainly from Sudan, Egypt, and Somalia.
