Lelia N. Morris
Lelia Naylor Morris (April 15, 1862July 23, 1929) was an American Methodist hymnwriter. Some sources give her first name as Leila, but her obituary, grave marker, and other sources give her name as Lelia. She is sometimes known as Mrs. Charles H. Morris, as (Mrs.) C. H. Morris, or as (Mrs.) C. H. M., having adopted her husband's forenames upon marriage after the custom of the time. Biography Morris was born in Pennsville, Ohio. While still a child, she moved with her family to Malta, Ohio, Malta, OH. Later, she and her sister and her mother ran a millinery shop in McConnelsville, Ohio, McConnelsville, OH. Sebring is a village in southwestern Mahoning County, Ohio, United States. The population was 4,191 as of the 2020 census. It is part of the Youngstown–Warren metropolitan area. History Sebring was founded by the Sebring family from East Liverpool, Ohio, who were successful pottery owners that sought to establish their own pottery town. Sebring was incorporated 1899. Much of the original family built the establishing houses and factories in the town, which at their high employed approximately 3,300 workers.
