Lekestue
''Lekestue'' (English: ''Playroom'') was the name of one of NRK's biggest children's television programmes that was aired from 7th September 1971 until 23rd December 1980. The programme was educational, and looked at the world of adults in a way that children could understand. It was based on the BBC program Play School, since the title sequence were very similar to the original British version and New Zealand version, produced for TVNZ. Play School (UK TV Series)
''Play School'' was a British children's television series produced by the BBC which ran from 21 April 1964 until 11 March 1988. It was created by Joy Whitby and was aimed at preschool children. Each programme followed a broad theme and consisted of songs, stories and activities with presenters in the studio, along with a short film introduced through either the square, round or arched window in the set. The programme spawned numerous spin-offs in Britain and other countries and involved many presenters and musicians during its run. Despite a revamp in 1983, ''Play School'' maintained the same basic formula throughout its 24-year history, but changes to the BBC's children's output led to the programme's cancellation in 1988, when it was replaced by ''Playbus'', which soon became ''Playdays''. Geir Børresen
Geir Børresen (16 November 1942 – 25 July 2022) was a Norwegian actor and entertainer. Biography Børresen was born in Oslo on 16 November 1942. He made his film debut in '' Liv'' in 1967, and made his stage debut at Nationaltheatret in 1968. He was a presenter on ''Lekestue'', based on BBC's ''Play School'', for NRK from 1975–1981. He played the characters "Labbetuss" and "Max Mekker" in the television series '' Sesam Stasjon'' (a Norwegian spin-off of ''Sesame Street'') in the 1990s. He provided the voice of Trigger in the Norwegian dub of ''Robin Hood (1973 film)''. He is known for songs based on the comics series ''The Smurfs'', and his albums ''I Smurfeland'' (1978), '' Sommer i Smurfeland'' (1979) and ''Alle gode ting er Smurf'' (1979) sold a total of nearly 400,000 copies. ''Play School'' was a New Zealand educational television show for children. It was based on the British '' Play School'' show. The series first aired in 1972, and ended in 1990. Synopsis ''Play School'' was first broadcast in New Zealand on Tuesday 22 March 1972 for a 26-week trial period, with a group of six hosts chosen, one pair for each week. Series one and two continued to be broadcast twice weekly, Tuesday and Thursday at approx. 4.30pm. Its first producer was David Istance, an ex-BBC TV Floor Manager, who had worked on Play School, as well as comedies Gas and Gaiters and Hugh and I during the 1960s. Halvdan Sivertsen (born 5 January 1950) is a Norwegian singer-songwriter and guitarist. He was born in Tromsø, but raised and lives in Bodø.
