Leinster Minor Club Football Championship
The Leinster Minor Club Football Championship is a club competition between the top minor Gaelic football teams in Leinster. The 2006 champions of Leinster are Cuala of Dublin, who defeated Erins Own of Carlow by a scoreline of 3-8 to 1-7. The 2007 final was contested by St Brigids of Dublin and Donaghmore-Ashbourne of Meath, which St. Brigids won. The 2008 final was won by Donaghmore-Ashbourne, who beat St. Geraldine's of Louth.The 2014 final was won by Ferbane/Belmont of Offaly, who beat Newtown Blues of Louth. The 2015 final saw reigning champions Ferbane/Belmont of Offaly take on Ballymun Kickhams of Dublin. The sides were level on 1-12 a piece after full-time and were level again at 1-13 to 1-13 after extra time. Ballymun Kickhams won the game 4-2 on penalties. The Longford County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) ( ga, Cumann Lúthchleas Gael Coiste Chontae an Longfort) or Longford GAA is one of the 32 county boards of the GAA in Ireland, and is responsible for Gaelic games in County Longford. Clonguish GAA
Clonguish GAA is a Gaelic football and hurling club in Newtownforbes, County Longford, Ireland. The club was formed on 20 October 1889 and was originally called Clonguish Gallowglasses. Situated in the west of Co. Longford, it is bordered by four parishes in Co. Longford, Drumlish, Killoe, Killashee and Templemichael (Longford) – the parish also shares a common boundary with the Province of Connacht in that it adjoins the parishes of Bornacoola and Gortletteragh in Co. Leitrim and Tarmonbarry in Co. Roscommon. The Irish for Clonguish is ''Cluain Geis'' which means 'The Meadow of the Swans'. Clonguish played their games at Curry Field in the Castleforbes Estate before moving to their new ground Centenary Park in 1984. Kilmacud Crokes GAA
Kilmacud Crokes ( ir, Cill Mochuda Na Crócaigh) is a large Gaelic Athletic Association club located in Stillorgan, Dublin, Republic of Ireland. Background Kilmacud GAA club was formed in 1959 following a historic public meeting in Saint Laurence's Hall, where Stillorgan shopping centre now stands. The first meeting of the club took place on 12 March 1959. Sixty people attended the meeting and donated a shilling each, meaning the club made IR£3.30 on the night. The club decided to use green-and-white jerseys, but they later decided to use the gold-and-purple colours, some say because of the local school Scoil Lorcain Naofa who also use gold and purple, others say it was because blue are the colours of the crocus. In 1963 the club purchased a -acre site behind the Ormonde Cinema as a permanent home pitch for themselves, Páirc de Burca, and in 1965 the adjoining Glenalbyn House was bought. The Heath GAA is a Gaelic football, ladies' Gaelic football and rounders club in County Laois, Ireland, located to the northeast of Portlaoise. History The club was founded in 1888. St Brigid's GAA Club (Irish: Cumann Naomh BrÃd) is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Castleknock, Fingal, Ireland which serves Castleknock, Clonsilla, Blanchardstown and Corduff.
