Leighton John Baines (born 11 December 1984) is an English former professional Association football, footballer who played as a left back. He is currently U-18s manager at Everton F.C., Everton. Baines started his career with Wigan Athletic F.C., Wigan Athletic, and was part of the team that won the Football League Second Division, Second Division in the 2002–03 Wigan Athletic F.C. season, 2002–03 season and was a runner-up in the 2004–05 Wigan Athletic F.C. season, 2004–05 EFL Championship, Championship and the 2006 Football League Cup Final, 2006 League Cup Final. Leighton William Charles Dye (October 30, 1901 – October 25, 1977) was an American 110 metres hurdles, hurdler. He placed fourth in the Athletics at the 1928 Summer Olympics – Men's 110 metres hurdles, 110 m hurdles at the 1928 Summer Olympics and was USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, United States champion in 1926. Biography Dye was born in St. Louis, Missouri on October 30, 1901. Representing coach Dean Cromwell's USC Trojans, Dye won the IC4A 120 yd (109.7 m) hurdles title as a Junior (education year), junior in 1925, running 14.8; USC won that year's IC4A team title. Later that year he placed third at the national championships, behind Olympic finalist George Guthrie (athlete), George Guthrie and NCAA champion Hugo Leistner. Leighton James (born 16 February 1953 in Loughor, Swansea, Wales) is a former Wales international footballer. Playing career James started his career as a left winger with Burnley F.C., Burnley, making his league debut in November 1970 against Nottingham Forest F.C., Nottingham Forest. In 1971, he won his first international cap against Czechoslovakia national football team, Czechoslovakia. Altogether, he played 54 times for Wales national football team, Wales and scored 10 goals. He is best known as the first British Darts Organisation, BDO World Professional Darts Champion, having won the inaugural 1978 BDO World Darts Championship and was a former Darts world rankings, World No. 1 player. Leighton Vander Esch (born February 8, 1996) is an American football middle linebacker for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Boise State Broncos football, Boise State, and was drafted by the Cowboys in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft. Leighton Paul Walsh, better known by his stage name Walshy Fire, is a Jamaican American DJ, MC and record producer. He is part of the dancehall reggae-influenced group Major Lazer alongside fellow DJs Diplo and Ape Drums. Walshy Fire toured with the Black Chiney sound system beginning in 2004. Black Chiney is cited as a significant influence on the evolution of Major Lazer with its mashups that blend hip hop or R&B rhythms with reggae & R&B artist vocal tracks and its representation of the Jamaican sound system.
