Leif Selby
Leif Selby (born 26 July 1972) is a retired Australian Lawn bowler. Bowls career He won the lawn bowls gold medal in the singles competition and silver in the pairs with Aron Sherriff at the 2012 World Outdoor Bowls Championship. He also won the silver medal in the singles competition at the 2010 Commonwealth Games. He twice won the gold medal in 2009 and 2010 at the World Cup Singles in Warilla, New South Wales, Australia. He won three gold medals and one silver medal at the Asia Pacific Bowls Championships The Asia Pacific Bowls Championships formerly the Pacific Rim Championships was a bowls, lawn bowling competition held between national bowls organisations in the Asia Pacific region. Bowls
Bowls, also known as lawn bowls or lawn bowling, is a sport in which the objective is to roll biased balls so that they stop close to a smaller ball called a "jack" or "kitty". It is played on a bowling green, which may be flat (for "flat-green bowls") or convex or uneven (for "crown green bowls"). It is normally played outdoors (although there are many indoor venues) and the outdoor surface is either natural grass, artificial turf or cotula (in New Zealand).
