Leif Enecrona
Leif Enecrona (born 5 March 1940 in Stockholm, Sweden) is a former international motorcycle speedway rider who reached the finals of the Speedway World Championship three times.Bamford, R. & Shailes, G. Bengt Gustaf Jansson (born 9 January 1943 in Stockholm, Sweden) is a former Swedish international speedway rider. "Banger" was runner up in the 1967 World Final to fellow countryman Ove Fundin after losing a race-off and finished third in 1971, again after a run-off. He rode in Britain for West Ham Hammers, Edinburgh Monarchs, Hackney Hawks, Reading Racers, and finally the Birmingham Brummies. Bernt Eveart Persson (24 June 1946 to 20 September 2020) was a Swedish international speedway rider who finished runner up in the 1972 Speedway World Championship final. Anders Michanek
Anders Michanek (born 30 May 1943 in Stockholm, Sweden) is a Speedway rider. In 1974 he won the Speedway World Championship in his Swedish homeland with a maximum score of 15 points. Career Michanek had a very successful career riding in the British League. He initially signed for the Long Eaton Archers in 1967 before going on to ride for various clubs including Leicester Lions, Newcastle Diamonds, Reading Racers, Ipswich Witches and Cradley Heathens. Göte Nordin (born 2 July 1935) is a former speedway rider from Sweden. Speedway career Nordin is a two times champion of Sweden, winning the Swedish Championship in 1965 and 1971. He reached the final of the Speedway World Championship on four occasions (1961, 1962, 1963 and 1966) finishing third in the 1961 Individual Speedway World Championship. He helped Sweden win the World Team Cup in 1962, 1963, 1964 and 1967. He won the Swedish League title on eight occasions with three clubs. Ove Fundin
Ove Fundin (born 23 May 1933) is a Swedish former professional motorcycle speedway rider. He competed in the Speedway World Championships from 1951 to 1970. Fundin is notable for winning the Speedway World Championship Final five times (1956, 1960, 1961, 1963, 1967), a record bettered only by Ivan Mauger and fellow Swede Tony Rickardsson who each won six World Championships. He finished runner-up in the championship 3 times (1957–59) and was third in 1962, 1964 and 1965 meaning that from his first win in 1956 until his last in 1967, Fundin did not finish lower than a podium place in a record eleven World Finals. He was known by the nickname of the "Flying Fox" or just "the Fox" because of his red hair. In 2013, Fundin was named an FIM Legend for his motorcycling achievements.
