Lehrde
The Lehrde is a long, right tributary of the river Aller in Lower Saxony, Germany. Course It rises east of , a borough of Visselhövede, in the ''Öttinger Ochsenmoor'' nature reserve. It then heads westward, crossing the district of Heidekreis, passing the villages of (part of Walsrode) and Lehrden. The Lehrde continues across the southern part of the district of Verden. Northeast of (part of Kirchlinteln) it is joined from the left by the Vethbach and discharges south of (part of Kirchlinteln) into the Aller. Culture The setting for the fairy tale of the Town Musicians of Bremen is along part of the river Lehrde. Aller (Germany)
The Aller is a river in the states of Saxony-Anhalt and Lower Saxony in Germany. It is a right-hand, and hence eastern, tributary of the Weser and is also its largest tributary. Its last form the Lower Aller federal waterway (''Bundeswasserstraße''). The Aller was extensively straightened, widened and, in places, dyked, during the 1960s to provide flood control of the river. In a section near Gifhorn, the river meanders in its natural river bed. Walsrode
Walsrode (; nds, Wasra) is a town in the district of Heidekreis, in Lower Saxony, Germany. The former municipality Bomlitz was merged into Walsrode in January 2020. The first recorded mention of the town is dated May 7, 986. 1383 The dukes of Brunswick and Lüneburg grant Walsrode a town charter. 1479 First recorded instance of Walsrode's coat of arms. Visselhövede () is a town in the district of Rotenburg in Lower Saxony, Germany. Nearby towns include the district capital Rotenburg, Walsrode and Verden. Heidekreis
Heidekreis ("Heath district") is a district (''Landkreis'') in Lower Saxony, Germany. It is bounded by (from the north and clockwise) the districts of Harburg, Lüneburg, Uelzen, Celle, Hanover, Nienburg, Verden and Rotenburg. Verden (district)
Verden () is a ''Kreis'' (district) in the centre of Lower Saxony, Germany. Adjoining it are (from the northwest clockwise) the districts of Osterholz, Rotenburg, Heidekreis, Nienburg, and Diepholz, as well as the city of Bremen. Geography The Aller River enters the district in the east and joins the Weser in the center of the district. In the north, the Wümme River passes from west to the east across the district's territory. The western half of the district is occupied by suburbs in the Bremen metropolitan area, e.g. the town of Achim. Kirchlinteln is a municipality in the district of Verden, in Lower Saxony, Germany. Its central village is situated approximately 6 km east of Verden, and 40 km southeast of Bremen. It is surrounded by the Linteln Geest (also called the ''Verden Heath'') which is dominated by woods, hills, heath and small villages. Within the last decades many people decided to build their homes in Kirchlinteln or to buy old cottages in this region because of its picturesque landscape and its location close to the cities of Bremen and Hanover.
