Lehenda Chernihiv
Lehenda-ShVSM Chernihiv ( uk, "Легенда-ШВСМ" Чернігів) is a former Ukrainian professional women's football club from Chernihiv, Ukraine. In 2018, it merged with Yednist Plysky as Yednist-ShVSM Plysky. ShVSM abbreviation stands for School of Higher Sports Mastery ( uk, Школа Вищої Спортивної Майстерності). History Origin during the Soviet Time Initially the team was named as SK Polissia Chernihiv. In October 1987, Mychailo Yushchenko decides to establish a women's football team at the "Polissia" gymnasium, which gave its name to SK Polissia team. The creation of the team supported the local Cheksil "Worsted and Cloth Factory Combine". Thats why the team used also the name Lehenda-Cheksil. The club was formed by the factory workers, as well as pupils from city's schools № 11 and 14, vocational school № 13 and students from the Chernihiv Pedagogical Institute ( Chernihiv Pedagogical University). Lokomotiv Stadium (Chernihiv)
Lokomotiv stadium ( uk, стадіон Локомотив) is a football stadium in Chernihiv. The stadium was built nearby the Chernihiv Ovruch railway and the Monument to Soldiers Liberators in Victory Square. Basic information The stadium is near the territory of the Chernihiv Ovruch railway, nearby there are also the Khimik Sports Complex and Tekstylschyk stadium. There is a "tribune" of a row of six or seven wooden benches, where the local youth hang out for beer and seeds in the evening. In 2016 a reconstruction plan have been put in place. In 2017 the city of Chernihiv wanted to reconstruct the stadium "Locomotive" and planned to spend ₴14 million from the city budget on the reconstruction of Lokomotiv stadium. In 2017, the mayor, Vladyslav Atroshenko, in turn announced a project for the reconstruction of the Lokomotiv Stadium on Zhabynskoho Street. Its cost is at least ₴70 million. Italy Women's Cup
The Italy Women's Cup was an Italian invitational women's football competition organized by the Lega Nazionale Dilettanti confronting the 2nd, 3rd and 4th ranking teams in the Serie A Femminile, the Italian Women's Cup champion or runner-up and several foreign clubs. Established in 2003, it intended to develop itself into the UEFA Cup's female counterpart but it was never recognized by UEFA. Five editions were carried out until 2008 before it was discontinued. Olha Ovdiychuk (born 16 December 1993) is a Ukrainian footballer, who plays as a forward for Fomget GSK in the Turkish Women's Super League and the Ukraine women's national team. She previously played for Lehenda Chernihiv and Zhytlobud-1 Kharkiv in the Ukrainian league and Kubanochka, Nadezhda Noginsk, Rossiyanka, Energiya Voronezh and Zvezda Perm in the Russian Championship.
