The legislative districts of Bataan are the representations of the province of Bataan in the various national legislatures of the Philippines. The province is currently represented in the lower house of the Congress of the Philippines through its first, second and third congressional districts. History Before 1972, Bataan comprised a lone legislative district, electing one representative to the various national legislatures, except during the Japanese occupation of the Philippines when the province sent two representatives to the National Assembly of the Second Philippine Republic. Upon the restoration of the Philippine Commonwealth in 1945, the province continued to comprise a lone district. National Unity Party (Philippines)
The National Unity Party (NUP) is a political party in the Philippines. The party was formed in 2010 by former members of Lakas–CMD, Lakas-Kampi CMD who broke away after internal discontent within the party. Limay, officially the Municipality of Limay ( tl, Bayan ng Limay), is a 1st class municipality in the province of Bataan, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 78,272 people. Limay is accessible via the Bataan Provincial Expressway (N301), off Exit 45. Balanga, Bataan
Balanga (pronounced ), officially the City of Balanga ( fil, Lungsod ng Balanga), is a 4th class component city and capital of the province of Bataan, Philippines. Albert Garcia
Albert Raymond "Abet" Sandejas Garcia (born February 1, 1970) is a Filipino politician. He currently serves as a member of the Philippine House of Representatives representing the 2nd District of Bataan since 2022. He served as the 24th provincial Governor of Bataan from 2013 to 2022 under the National Unity Party, which also he is the president of the political party.
