''Legal Mavericks'' (; literally “Crossing the Line") is a Legal, Crime, Detective television drama created by Lam Chi-wah and TVB. It began principal photography in October 2016. It aired concurrently on TVB Jade, and iQiyi. The second season of this drama aired in 2020. Synopsis Since losing his eyesight in an accident, Man Sun-Hop has been continually harassed and despised. But instead, his determination and perseverance are so reinforced that he has qualified as a barrister. He has also developed an acute sense beyond sight which helps him to gain the status of Blind Legal Knight in the legal profession. However, nobody really knows his true character. Fortunately, Kuk Yat-Ha, his flatmate and private detective, and Chiu Ching-Mui, a legal executive with mob connections, are two buddies he can always rely on. 1080i (also known as Full HD or BT.709) is a combination of frame resolution and scan type. 1080i is used in high-definition television (HDTV) and high-definition video. The number "1080" refers to the number of horizontal lines on the screen. Li & Fung Limited is a Bermuda-incorporated, Hong Kong-based supply chain manager. In 2020, it was reportedly struggling to turn its century-old business around for years. William Chak
William Chak (; born 29 March 1985) is a Hong Kong actor and presenter who achieved fame through TVB's 2010 Mr. Hong Kong contest. He formerly performed under the stage name Chak Fung (). When Chak was eighteen, he traveled to Tokyo, Japan, as an exchange student and performed as a comedic dancer in the streets to earn tuition money. After winning the 1st runner up at Hong Kong ATV's 2005 Mr. Asia Contest, he returned to Japan to finish his schooling. In 2006, he signed an artiste contract with ATV. In 2008, Chak graduated from N-atv's Artiste Training Class. After his contracted with ATV ended in 2009, Chak stayed in South Korea for a year, and earned a black belt in Taekwondo. He returned to Hong Kong in 2010 and joined TVB's 2010 Mr. Hong Kong contest, and holds the record for the first Mr. Hong Kong to win eight different awards. Law Lok-lam (, born 20 October 1948) is a veteran Hong Kong character actor currently under Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB) management. A versatile actor who has acted in many Hong Kong television dramas since the 1970s. He has been in so many dramas that he became internationally known as "the actor that died 5 times in one day or 24 hours" when five dramas he starred in were broadcast on the same day showing him in dying scenes. Law originally joined TVB in 1976 as a film extra, but left the same year to return to rival station Commercial Television (CTV). Almost a decade with another rival station Asia Television (ATV), he returned to TVB in 1990.
