Lega Nord Toscana
Lega Toscana ( en, Tuscany League), whose complete name is ( en, Tuscany League for Salvini Premier), is a regionalist political party active in Tuscany. Established in 1987, it was one of the founding "national" sections of Lega Nord (LN) in 1991 and has been the regional section of Lega per Salvini Premier (LSP) in Tuscany since 2020. The party is currently led by pro-tempore commissioner Mario Lolini. Lega (political Party)
Lega ( en, League), whose official name is Lega per Salvini Premier ( en, League for Salvini Premier; abbr. LSP or LpSP), is a right-wing populist political party in Italy, led by Matteo Salvini. The LSP is the informal successor of Lega Nord ( en, Northern League, LN) and, while sharing the latter's heartland in northern Italy, it is active all around the country. The LSP was founded in December 2017 as the sister party of the LN and as a replacement of Us with Salvini (NcS), the LN's previous affiliate in central and southern Italy. The early LSP aimed at offering LN's values and policies to the rest of the country. Some political commentators described it as a parallel party of the LN, with the aim of politically replacing it, also because of its statutory debt of €49 million. 1990 Italian Regional Elections
The Italian regional elections of 1990 were held on 6 and 7 May. The fifteen ordinary regions, created in 1970, elected their fifth assemblies. Electoral system The pure party-list proportional representation had traditionally become the electoral system of Italy; it was also adopted for the regional vote. Each Italian province corresponded to a constituency, electing a group of candidates. At the constituency level, seats were divided between open lists using the largest remainder method with a Droop quota. The remaining votes and seats were transferred at the regional level, where they were divided using the Hare quota and automatically distributed to the best losers in the local lists. Claudio Morganti (April 14, 1973, Prato, Italy) is an Italian politician. Biography From 2002 to 2013 he was a member of the Tuscan Northern League. Lega Nord Marche
Lega Marche ( en, Marche League), whose complete name is ( en, Marche League for Salvini Premier), is a regionalist political party active in Marche. The party was a "national" section of Lega Nord (LN) from 1991 to 2000 and has been the regional section of Lega per Salvini Premier (LSP) in Marche since 2020. The party's long-time leader was Luca Rodolfo Paolini, member of the Chamber of Deputies in 2008–2013 and 2018–2022. The current leader is Giorgia Latini, member of the Chamber in 2018–2020 and since 2022, elected during a party congress in June 2023. The 1996 Italian general election was held on 21 April 1996 to elect members of the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate of the Republic. Romano Prodi, leader of the centre-left The Olive Tree, won the election, narrowly defeating Silvio Berlusconi, who led the centre-right Pole for Freedoms. The Pole of Freedoms ( it, Polo delle Libertà) was a centre-right political and electoral alliance in Italy, launched at the 1994 general election by Silvio Berlusconi. Its counterpart in central and southern Italy was the Pole of Good Government.
