Lega Basket Serie A statistical leaders are the season by season stats leaders of the top-tier level professional basketball league in Italy, the LBA (first division), and the all-time stats leaders of both the LBA and the Serie A2 (2nd division). Top scorers by season In basketball, points are the sum of the score accumulated through free throws or field goals. The LBA's scoring title is awarded to the player with the highest points per game average in a given regular season. Prior to the 1987–88 season, the league's Top Scorer was the player that scored the most total points in the league during the season. The Italian basketball league system or Italian basketball league pyramid, is a series of interconnected competitions for professional basketball clubs in Italy. The system has a hierarchical format with a promotion and demotion system between competitions at different levels. Victoria Libertas (also known as "VL" or in Italian ''Vuelle''), full name Unione Sportiva Victoria Libertas Pallacanestro, is a professional basketball team that is based in Pesaro, Italy. Libertas Livorno was an Italian professional basketball team based in Livorno, Tuscany. History Established in 1947, the side played in the first division Serie A from 1959 to 1968 , in 1970-71 and again from 1981 to 1994 (with one season in the second division Serie A2. Merging with another Livorno side, Pallacanestro Livorno under the Libertas name, the side went bankrupt in 1994. Trajko Rajković
Trajko Rajković ( sr-cyr, Трајко Рајковић; 7 December 1937 – 27 May 1970) was a Yugoslav professional basketball player. He represented Yugoslavia internationally. Playing career Rajković played for OKK Beograd, during their so-called "Golden Era", in the late 1950s, and the first half of the 1960s, in the Yugoslav First League. Some of his teammates were: Radivoj Korać, Miodrag Nikolić, Bogomir Rajković, Slobodan Gordić and, Milorad Erkić. OKK Beograd's head coaches during that time were, Borislav Stanković and Aleksandar Nikolić, and the club's sports director at the time was Radomir Šaper. In that period, the club won three Yugoslav League championships, and two Yugoslav Cups. Rajković went to Italy in 1967, where he played two seasons, with Libertas Livorno and Reyer Venezia, of the Lega Basket Serie A.
