Leela Devi Dookun Luchoomun MP GCSK (born ळीला डेवि डूखुन ळुचूमुन on 16 April 1961) is the former Minister of Social Security of Mauritius serving in the cabinet of Navin Ramgoolam having been appointed on 11 May 2010 by President Anerood Jugnauth. She is Member of Parliament representing Constituency No 8, Moka & Quartier Militaire. She is a former Minister of Arts & Culture serving in the cabinet of Paul Berenger for a short period of 6 months. She was appointed as Parliamentary Private Secretary in September 2000 after the MSM/MMM coalition won the elections. She firstly served in the cabinet of Sir Anerood Jugnauth. Pravind Kumar Jugnauth (born 25 December 1961) is a Mauritian politician serving as the prime minister of Mauritius since January 2017. Jugnauth has been the leader of the Militant Socialist Movement (MSM) party since April 2003. He has held a number of ministerial portfolios and also been Leader of the Opposition. Early life and education Born on 25 December 1961 in La Caverne, a suburb area in Vacoas-Phoenix, Mauritius, Jugnauth was born into a Hindu Yaduvanshi family. The L'Alliance de L'avenir (French: ''Alliance of Future'') was a political alliance in Mauritius which was formed in 2010 for the next parliamentary elections which were held on 5 May 2010. Nandcoomar Bodha MP (born नन्दकुमार बोधा on 3 February 1954) is a Mauritian politician and former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mauritius. He was also the Minister of Tourism & Leisure of Mauritius. The Militant Socialist Movement/Mauritian Militant Movement (MSM/MMM) is coalition party that formed the government of the Republic of Mauritius from September 2000 to July 2005. The coalition has been reformed in April 2012 after an electoral agreement between the Militant Socialist Movement (MSM) and Mauritian Militant Movement (MMM) was made with Sir Anerood Jugnauth as leader. The agreements remain the same, 30 seats for the MMM and 30 seats for the MSM.
