Leeds Carnegie F.C.
Leeds Carnegie F.C. was an English football club based in Farsley, Leeds, West Yorkshire. They were established in 1970 and were affiliated with Leeds Metropolitan University and disbanded in 2011. History The club was founded in 1970 as Leeds & Carnegie College F.C., they were entered into the Yorkshire Football League Division Three during that year and were promoted during their debut season. Leeds & Carnegie were promoted as Yorkshire League Division Two champions in 1972–73 and would stay in the league system until 1979. They had a decent run in the FA Vase during the 1976–77 season, before going out to Newcastle Blue Star 1–0 in the fourth round. During 1980, the club were entered into the ''Northern Universities League'', they went under the name Leeds Polytechnic for much of this period, winning the Premier Division of this set-up a total of nine times. Graham Potter
Graham Stephen Potter (born 20 May 1975) is an English professional football manager and former player who is the current head coach of club Chelsea. In a 13-year playing career, Potter, who played as a left-back, made 307 appearances in the Football League. He also played in the Premier League for Southampton and the Football Conference for Shrewsbury Town. At international level, he was capped once for England at under-21 level. Potter started his professional managerial career in January 2011 with Swedish club Östersund. He won three promotions and the Svenska Cupen with Östersund, leading them to the 2017–18 UEFA Europa League knockout stage. West Yorkshire Association Football League
The West Yorkshire Association Football League is a football competition based in Yorkshire, England. It was previously known as the Leeds League until the name change in 1939. Although it is named the ''West Yorkshire'' League, clubs from the Harrogate and York areas of North Yorkshire also play in the competition. Currently the league has three senior team divisions, and two for reserves. Officially part of the National League System, the Premier Division is a step 7 (or level 11) league in the pyramid. Clubs are able to be promoted to the Northern Counties East Football League or the North West Counties Football League; Knaresborough Town in 2012 were accepted by the Northern Counties East League and Shelley Community were accepted by the North West Counties League in 2018. The Premier League (legal name: The Football Association Premier League Limited) is the highest level of the men's English football league system. Contested by 20 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the English Football League (EFL).
