Lee has also won a total of five medals at the Southeast Asian Games, which includes her three at 1989 edition and rest at 1993. Badminton is a racquet sport played using racquets to hit a shuttlecock across a net. Badminton is often played as a casual outdoor activity in a yard or on a beach; formal games are played on a rectangular indoor court. Points are scored by striking the shuttlecock with the racquet and landing it within the opposing side's half of the court. Lili Tampi (born 19 May 1970) is an Indonesian retired badminton player who specialized in doubles. Career Tampi won mixed doubles at the 1996 Asian Championships with Tri Kusharjanto, however most of her titles came in women's doubles with her regular partner Finarsih. These included the Dutch Open (1993), the World Badminton Grand Prix (1993), the Indonesia (1993, 1994), the Chinese Taipei Open (1994), and the Badminton World Cup (1994). Tampi and Finarsih were silver medalists at the 1995 IBF World Championships in Lausanne, Switzerland. They were eliminated in the quarterfinals of the 1992 Olympic Games competition in Barcelona, Spain, and in the round of sixteen at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Aadijatmiko Christina Finarsih (born 8 February 1972) is a retired badminton player from Indonesia who specialized in women's doubles. Career Finarsih won a number of significant international titles during the 1990s, most of them with regular partner Lili Tampi. These included the Dutch Open (1993), the World Badminton Grand Prix (1993), the Indonesia Open (1993, 1994), the Chinese Taipei Open (1994), and the Badminton World Cup (1994). She also won the 1996 Asian Championships with another fellow countrywomen Eliza Nathanael. Finarsih and Tampi were silver medalists at the 1995 IBF World Championships in Lausanne, Switzerland. Former Singapore Badminton Hall
The Former Singapore Badminton Hall (Abbreviation: SBH; ), formerly Singapore Badminton Stadium, is a former indoor sports hall for badminton located on Guillemard Road in Geylang, Singapore. The old facility was previously situated at 100 Guillemard Road. The hall's nearby building (102 Guillemard Road) was formerly the headquarters of the Singapore Badminton Association (SBA). Both buildings were refurnished in May 2009 as the commercial centre Guillemard Village. The current Singapore Badminton Hall is located at 1 Lorong 23 Geylang. History Construction The original Singapore Badminton Stadium was built in 1952 for the Thomas Cup Tournament. Rosiana Tendean
Rosiana Tendean (born 25 August 1964) is an Indonesian retired badminton player. Career A doubles specialist, Tendean competed in women’s doubles with Erma Sulistianingsih at the 1992 Summer Olympics. Together, they won consecutive World Grand Prix Finals titles in 1989 and 1990, and two Indonesia Open titles in 1989 and 1992. Tendean had also won this title earlier with Ivana Lie in 1987, and in mixed doubles with Rudy Gunawan in 1990 and 1993. Rosiana and Rudy Gunawan won three Badminton World Cups in a row between 1990 and 1992, as well as the Hong Kong and Polish Opens in 1993.
