Lee Township, Ontario
Lee Township is a geographic township in the Unorganized West Part of Timiskaming District in northeastern Ontario, Canada. The township is uninhabited, and has no communities. The northern border of the township forms part of the border between Timiskaming District and Cochrane District. The township is bordered on the north by the municipality of Black River-Matheson, Cochrane District; on the east by Maisonville Township; on the south by Bompas Township; and on the west by Terry Township. Lee Township is home to Arras Lake, Berube Lake, Burl Lakes, Knight Lake, Lillord Lake, Nausikaa Lake, Sarsfield Lake, Tomwool Lake, and Verona Lake, and parts of Cariad Lake, Gould Lake, Meyers Lake and Swan Lake. Lee Township, Allegan County, Michigan
Lee Township is a civil township of Allegan County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 4,015 at the 2010 census. The township is rural with the population living mostly around the lakes. A small portion of the Allegan State Game Area is in the township. CSX Transportation has a rail line that goes through the township in a north–south direction. The line also carries Amtrak traffic, but does not stop within the township. No major highways go through Lee Township. Nelson County is a county in the U.S. state of North Dakota. As of the 2020 census, the population was 3,015. Its county seat is Lakota. History The Dakota Territory legislature created Nelson County on March 2, 1883, with areas annexed from Foster, Grand Forks and Ramsey counties, and with some previously unorganized area. It was not organized at that time, but was attached to Grand Forks County for administrative and judicial purposes. Its proposed boundary was enlarged on March 9, 1883, and on June 9, 1883, the county organization was effected and the administrative attachment to Grand Forks County was terminated.
