Lee Lim-Saeng
Lee Lim-saeng (born November 18, 1971) is a former South Korean footballer who played as a defender. Playing career Lee mostly played his club career for Bucheon SK, and won three Korean League Cups. He also played for South Korean national team at the 1998 FIFA World Cup. Managerial career Lee was appointed head coach of Singaporean club Home United in 2010. The club finished the S.League twice as runners-up, and won the Singapore Cup twice. On 5 December 2014, he resigned their head coach. Lee, I, or Yi () is the second-most-common surname in Korea, behind Kim (김). Historically, 李 was officially written as Ni () in Korea. The spelling officially changed to I () in 1933 when the initial sound rule () was established. In North Korea, it is romanized as Ri () because there is no distinction between the alveolar liquids /l/ and /r/ in modern Korean. The Singapore Premier League, commonly abbreviated as SPL, officially known as the AIA Singapore Premier League for sponsorship reasons, is a men's professional football league sanctioned by the Football Association of Singapore (FAS), which represents the sport's highest level in the Singapore football league system. The 1998 FIFA World Cup was the 16th FIFA World Cup, the football world championship for men's national teams. The finals tournament was held in France from 10 June to 12 July 1998. The AFC U-20 Asian Cup, formerly known as the AFC Youth Championship and AFC U-19 Championship, is a biennial international association football competition organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) for the men's under-20 national teams of Asia. The competition has been held since 1959. Between 1959 and 1978, the tournament was held annually (without qualification); since 1980, it has been held every two years.
