Leddie Brown
Leddie Brown (born February 28, 1999) is an American football running back for the Arlington Renegades of the United Football League (2024), United Football League (UFL). He played college football at West Virginia Mountaineers football, West Virginia. Early years Brown attended Smyrna High School (Delaware), Smyrna High School in Smyrna, Delaware before transferring to Saints John Neumann and Maria Goretti Catholic High School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for his senior year. He had 899 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns his senior year. Brown committed to West Virginia University to play college football. College career Brown played in 11 games as a true freshman at West Virginia in 2018, rushing 91 times for 446 yards and four touchdowns. 2021 NFL Draft
The 2021 NFL Draft was the 86th National Football League Draft, the annual meeting of National Football League (NFL) franchises to select newly eligible players for the 2021 NFL season. The draft was held in Cleveland from April 29 to May 1, 2021. Five quarterbacks were selected in the first round — Trevor Lawrence, Zach Wilson, Trey Lance, Justin Fields, and Mac Jones — the second highest number of first-round quarterback selections (along with the 1999 and 2018 drafts) after the six selected in 1983. The draft also marked the third time the first three picks (Lawrence, Wilson, and Lance) were quarterbacks, following the 1971 and 1999 drafts. Smyrna, Delaware
Smyrna is a town in Kent and New Castle counties in the U.S. state of Delaware. It is part of the Dover, Delaware Metropolitan Statistical Area. According to the Census Bureau, as of 2010, the population of the town is 10,023. The international jurist John Bassett Moore was born in Smyrna, as were politicians Louis McLane and James Williams.
