Lev Durov
Lev Konstantinovich Durov ( rus, Лев Константинович Дуров, p=ˈlʲef kənstɐnʲˈtʲinəvʲɪdʑ ˈdurəf; 23 December 1931 – 20 August 2015) was a Soviet and Russian theatre and film actor who appeared in more than 200 films and numerous stage productions between 1955 and 2008. He was named a People's Artist of the USSR in 1990. Durov came from the illustrious Durov family whose members included memoirist Nadezhda Durova and animal trainer Anatoly Durov. His aunt's husband ran the Maly Theatre in 1944–1947. Lev Durov married actress Irina Kirichenko (1931–2001) in 1954. Their daughter Ekaterina is also an actress. Durov attended the Moscow Art Theatre School, where his teachers included Sergey Gerasimov and . He joined the troupe of Anatoly Efros in 1954 and was a mainstay of Efros's productions until 1984. Edison Vasilievich Denisov (russian: Эдисо́н Васи́льевич Дени́сов, 6 April 1929 – 24 November 1996) was a Russian composer in the so-called "Underground", "alternative" or "nonconformist" division of Soviet music. Biography Denisov was born in Tomsk, Siberia. He studied mathematics before deciding to spend his life composing. This decision was enthusiastically supported by Dmitri Shostakovich, who gave him lessons in composition. In 1951–56 Denisov studied at the Moscow Conservatory: composition with Vissarion Shebalin, orchestration with Nikolai Rakov, analysis with Viktor Tsukkerman and piano with Vladimir Belov. Leonid Sergeyevich Bronevoy (russian: Леони́д Серге́евич Бронево́й; December 17, 1928 – December 9, 2017) was a Soviet and Russian actor. Though primarily a stage actor in the Lenkom Theatre, Bronevoy also made occasional appearances in films. He was named People's Artist of the USSR in 1987 and won the Nika Award in March 2008. Early life Bronevoy was born in Kyiv on December 17, 1928, into the Jewish family of Solomon Iosifovich Bronevoy (who changed his family name from Faktorovich) and Bella Lvovna Bronevaya. In his childhood, he learned to play violin under the instruction of Kyiv Conservatory professor David Solomonovich Berthier. Biography Mikhail Mikhajlovich Derzhavin was born in the family of the People's Artist of the RSFSR, who was the leading actor of Vakhtangov’s Theatre, Mikhail Derzhavin and Iraida Derzhavina. He grew up in a house on the Vakhtangov Street, home to numerous actors, artists and musicians. The next entrance was to the Shchukin Theater School.
