During a year abroad in Atlanta, Georgia, Anna created her first band "Sova", playing at smaller festivals and local clubs. Back in Stockholm she continued her song writing and later in Lausanne, Switzerland, where she was performing while studying French. Career She released her debut album ''Somebody Outside'' in 2004. The Swedish Grammy jury awarded her the Best Newcomer of the Year award, and she was nominated for Best Female Artist, Best Lyricist and Best Songwriter in 2005. She also won the P3 Gold award for Best Newcomer 2004. For her second album, '' Separation Road'' released on 27 September 2006, she was awarded Best Female Artist and Best Lyricist by the Swedish Grammy jury. Verve Forecast Records
Verve Forecast is a record label formed as a division of Verve Records to concentrate on pop, rock, and folk music. Founding Jerry Schoenbaum of Verve and Moe Asch of Folkways created Verve Folkways in 1964 to take advantage of the popularity of folk music. To broaden the label's appeal, the named was changed from Verve Folkways to Verve Forecast in 1967. Schoenbaum was president of the label. History Schoenbaum left in 1969, and Verve Forecast was closed by its parent company, MGM, in 1970. After PolyGram bought MGM, the Verve Forecast catalog was incorporated into Polydor. The label was revived in the 1990s for smooth jazz releases by Chris Botti, Jeff Lorber, and Will Downing. Björn Daniel Arne Yttling (born 16 October 1974 in Umeå, Sweden) is a Swedish music producer, songwriter, and musician. His production and songwriting credits include Lykke Li, Chrissie Hynde, Primal Scream, Franz Ferdinand, Sahara Hotnights, Anna Ternheim. Yttling is the bassist of the indie rock trio Peter Bjorn and John. He is also a co-founder of the label and artist collective INGRID and a member of the band LIV.
