''Leave 'em Laughing'' is a 2020 drama short film directed by Chris Cashman and written by Cashman, Carlo Coppo and Christopher Lusti. The film stars Matthew Glave, Pete Gardner and Barrie Chase. Mark Atkinson is an American actor, filmmaker and comedian who appeared the films Pulp Friction (film), ''Pulp Friction'' (2021), Skin: The Movie, ''Skin: The Movie'' (2020), and produced the Dick Shawn biopic ''Leave 'Em Laughing (2020 film), Leave 'Em Laughing'' (2020). Idyllwild International Festival Of Cinema
The Idyllwild International Festival of Cinema (IIFC) is an independent film festival held since 2009 in Idyllwild, California. The festival is run by its founder, director Stephen Savage. The tenth annual IIFC was held March 5 through 10, 2019. As of 2019, the Grand Jury was composed of Wolfgang Bodison, Irene Bedard, Kristoff St. John, Conor O'Farrell, Juan Ruiz Anchia, Erika Christensen, Anne Archer and Peter Szebadi. IIFC's schedule overlaps with the much larger Palm Springs International Film Festival in Palm Springs. Savage has said scheduling the festival in January helps the local economy during the slow season. Coronado Island Film Festival
The Coronado Island Film Festival (CIFF) is an annual film festival based in Coronado, a resort city across the San Diego Bay from downtown San Diego. It consists of a four-day festival in November – and a monthly year-round "Classic Movie Series" – at venues across the island including the iconic Hotel Del Coronado, once known as Hollywood's Playground. History Film critic and author Leonard Maltin has served as Honorary Head Juror since the inaugural event in 2016. On November 11, 2018, Jack Lemmon's son Chris, an actor and entertainer in his own right, fell seriously ill due to a lung condition at the festival. He was unable to accept an award on behalf of his father at the Hotel Del Coronado because he had to receive an immediate double lung transplant.
