Paul Francis Gadd (born 8 May 1944), best known by his stage name Gary Glitter, is an English former singer, songwriter, and record producer. He achieved success during the glam rock era of the 1970s and 1980s, and his career ended after he was imprisoned for downloading child pornography in 1999. He was also convicted of child sexual abuse in 2006 and attempted rape in 2015. After performing under the name Paul Raven in the 1960s, Gadd changed his stage name to Gary Glitter in the early 1970s and had a sustained solo UK chart run of hits including " Rock and Roll (Parts 1 and 2)", "Do You Wanna Touch Me", "I Love You Love Me Love", "I'm the Leader of the Gang (I Am)", and "Hello, Hello, I'm Back Again". ''Boys Will Be Boys'' is the fifth studio album by English singer Gary Glitter, released on 10 March 1984 by Arista Records. It features two top 30 hits: " Dance Me Up" and " Another Rock and Roll Christmas". It was the first album released by Glitter since ''Silver Star'' just under seven years earlier. ''The Ultimate Gary Glitter – 25 Years of Hits'' is a greatest hits album by English glam rock singer Gary Glitter. It was originally released in the United Kingdom on 24 November 1997 on the label Snapper Music, less than a week after his arrest for having child pornography on his computer. The two-disc set contains 32 tracks in total, 16 tracks on each disc. 27 of the tracks are Gary Glitter songs spanning from 1972 through to 1984, while four of the tracks are singles from 1974–1975 by his backing band, The Glitter Band, without him. The one other track on the set is a song called "Rock Hard Men (Need The Power)", which was recorded in April 1997 from a then upcoming 1998 Gary Glitter album called "Lost on Life Street". This 1997 version of "Rock Hard Men (Need The Power)" is a different mix of the song to the 1996 version that appeared as a B side on Gary Glitter's "House of the Rising Sun" single. John Earle (musician)
John "Irish" Earle (6 October 1944 – 7 May 2008) was an Irish saxophone, saxophonist, best known for his solo on Thin Lizzy's live versions of "Dancing in the Moonlight", such as that on their live album ''Live and Dangerous''. He also worked with Ian Dury, Graham Parker, Gnidrolog, Rory Gallagher, The Boomtown Rats, Randy Crawford, Shakin' Stevens and many others Biography Earle went to school at Synge Street CBS, and started playing the clarinet as a young boy, and later graduated to saxophone. After a short career as a commercial artist he started his professional music career in the mid-1960s, playing in showbands that were popular in Ireland at the time.
