Le Juste Prix
''Le Juste Prix'' ("The Fair Price") is a French adaptation of the American game show ''The Price Is Right'' that airs on TF1. It first premiered in 1988 and ran until the original version was canceled in 2001. In 2002 a brief sequel, ''Le Juste Euro'', ran on France 2 and was hosted by Patrice Laffont, it only ran for two episodes. On July 27, 2009 a new version of ''Le Juste Prix'' premiered on TF1. This version, which aired for six years, was hosted by Vincent Lagaf with Gerard Vivès as announcer. 1987–2001 While all price elements were intact, the series utilized format changes that were exclusive and unique to this version. Bob Stewart (television)
Bob Stewart (born Isidore L. Steinberg; August 27, 1920 – May 4, 2012) was an American television game show producer. He was active in the TV industry from 1956 until his retirement in 1991. Stewart is known for creating some of the most popular game shows for Mark Goodson-Bill Todman Productions. These shows include '' To Tell the Truth'', ''Password'', and ''The Price Is Right.'' His biggest success as an independent producer was the ''Pyramid'' series, starting with ''The $10,000 Pyramid'' in 1973. ''The Price Is Right'', created by Stewart, is the only game show to be seen nationally in either first-run network or syndication airings in the US in every decade from the 1950s onward. As of 2022, five Stewart creations are airing on television: ''The Price is Right'', ''To Tell the Truth'', ''Pyramid'', ''Chain Reaction'' and ''Password''. Patrice Laffont
Patrice Laffont (born 21 August 1939 in Marseille) is a French television presenter, actor and entertainer. Career During the 1960s Laffont had a passion for acting, where he became a star on stage and screen with his friends Michel Fugain and Michel Sardou. During the 1970s he joined Europe 1 where most of his programmes were produced by Armand Jammot. His television career includes hosting ''Des chiffres et des lettres'' (French original of the UK's ''Countdown'') which he did between 1972 and 1989. Laffont hosted the French version of '' Fort Boyard'' until 1999 and ''Pyramid'' between 1990 and 1997. Laffont hosted the 2005 edition of ''Intervilles'' and presented poker tournaments for Direct 8. Vincent Rouil (; born 30 October 1959 in Mont-Saint-Aignan), better known as Vincent Lagaf' (), is a French humorist, TV presenter, singer and actor. Biography In 1987, Vincent Lagaf', who had just arrived in Paris, came to national attention as a comedian when he appeared on the TV show (''La Classe'') aimed at discovering young comedians. With his first one-man show, Lagaf' became popular thanks to the song " Bo le lavabo", which was a success in France in 1990. A year later, he had a similar success with " La Zoubida" which was in the list of the 100 best-selling singles in France during the 1990s. (A side-scrolling platform game developed by Titus Interactive based on this song was also produced, later altered and released as Titus the Fox in other markets.)
