Lazurnaya Bay
Lazurnaya Bay (russian: бухта Лазурная) is a bay on the east side of the Muravyov-Amursky Peninsula in Russia. It lies to the northeast of Vladivostok and to the southwest from the Three Little Pigs Bay. The Lazurnaya Bay forms part of the Ussuri Bay in the Sea of Japan. The toponym was coined in the 1970s and translates from Russian as "the Azure Bay". The older, traditional name is Shamora (russian: Шамора) which supposedly translates from Chinese as "sandy desert". From the 1880s until 1973, it was officially called ''Feldhausen Bay'' (in honor of , the first Military Governor of Vladivostok). The bay is known for its sandy beaches which attract scores of holiday-makers from Vladivostok and other towns of the Russian Far East. Several rest homes and sanatoriums are scattered along the coastline. The hinterland is hilly and woody. Muravyov-Amursky Peninsula
The Muravyov-Amursky Peninsula (Russian: полуостров Муравьёва-Амурского) is a peninsula in Primorsky Krai, Russia, located in the Peter the Great Gulf of the Sea of Japan. Vladivostok, the administrative center of Primorsky Krai, is located on the southern tip of the peninsula. Ussuri Bay
Ussuri Bay (russian: Уссурийский залив) is a major bay within the Peter the Great Gulf of the Sea of Japan. It is the largest bay in Peter the Great Gulf with a length of approximately , a width of between to , and an average depth of and a maximum of . Ussuri Bay forms part of a much larger bay with Amur Bay, to which it is connected by the Eastern Bosphorus, and separated by the Muravyov-Amursky Peninsula and Eugénie Archipelago. Sea Of Japan
The Sea of Japan is the marginal sea between the Japanese archipelago, Sakhalin, the Korean Peninsula, and the mainland of the Russian Far East. The Japanese archipelago separates the sea from the Pacific Ocean. Like the Mediterranean Sea, it has almost no tides due to its nearly complete enclosure from the Pacific Ocean. This isolation also affects faunal diversity and salinity, both of which are lower than in the open ocean. The sea has no large islands, bays or capes. Its water balance is mostly determined by the inflow and outflow through the straits connecting it to the neighboring seas and the Pacific Ocean. Russian Far East

Mumiy Troll
Mumiy Troll (russian: Му́мий Тро́лль ) is a Russian rock music, rock group, founded in 1983 in music, 1983 in Vladivostok by vocalist and songwriter Ilya Lagutenko (). The band's name translates as "mummy troll" and is a pun on ''Moomins, Mumintroll'', the children's books series by Tove Jansson. Career Ilya Lagutenko founded Mumiy Troll in Vladivostok on 16 October 1983. In 1985, the group recorded their first album, ''Novaya luna aprelya'', which was distributed as ''magnitizdat''.
