Lazdeika the Crab ( lt, Krabas Lazdeika) is a rainbow crab from Lithuania. The crab was used by Delfi.lt web portal as an oracle to predict the outcomes of each of the Lithuania national basketball team matches in the EuroBasket 2011. ''Cardisoma armatum'' is a species of terrestrial crab. Names It is sometimes referred to as the (African) rainbow crab, (Nigerian) moon crab, or patriot crab. Adults are sometimes labelled as "soapdish" crabs in the pet industry. This name derives from their aggressive nature as adults and when being shipped to pet stores, they are often packed in soap dishes to prevent them from killing each other. Lithuania Men's National Basketball Team

The EuroBasket 2011 final was the championship game of EuroBasket 2011 played at the Žalgiris Arena in Kaunas, Lithuania on 18 September between Spain and France. By virtue of FIBA Europe's two outright berths in the 2012 Summer Olympic basketball tournament, both finalists qualified for the 2012 London Games.
