Mihal "Mike" Lazaridis (born March 14, 1961) is a Canadian businessman, investor in quantum computing technologies, and founder of BlackBerry, which created and manufactured the BlackBerry wireless handheld device. With an estimated net worth of US$800 million (as of June 2011), Lazaridis was ranked by ''Forbes'' as the 17th wealthiest Canadian and 651st in the world. Lazaridis served in various positions including co-chairman and co-CEO of BlackBerry from 1984 to 2012 and Board Vice Chair and Chair of the Innovation Committee from 2012 to 2013. Stefanos Lazaridis
Stefanos Lazaridis (28 July 1942 – 8 May 2010) was a stage designer, best known for his work in opera. Originally intended for a business career, he studied stage design in London, and was quickly in demand in theatres and opera houses, working with John Copley and other directors. Originally his style was lavish and naturalistic, but he changed to a less traditional style, working with David Pountney and other more avant garde directors at English National Opera and elsewhere. He occasionally directed operas, and was for a short time director of the Greek National Opera. Stan Lazaridis (born 16 August 1972) is an Australian former footballer. He was predominantly a left winger though he had been known to perform at left back. He last played for his home-town club Perth Glory and made 58 official appearances for Australia and was in the Australian 2006 FIFA World Cup squad. Prokopios Lazaridis
Prokopios Lazaridis ( el, Προκόπιος Λαζαρίδης, 1859–1923) was a Greek Orthodox metropolitan bishop, who served as a head in a number of bishoprics during the late Ottoman period. As a bishop of Iconium, modern Konya, in central Anatolia, he was involved with the issue of the creation of the Turkish Orthodox Church. He died in Turkish prison in 1923. He is commemorated by the Greek Orthodox Church as Hieromartyr ( el, ιερομάρτυρας) and his feast day is celebrated on the Sunday before the Exaltation of the Holy Cross each year (September 7–13). Kostas Lazaridis (1900–1943) was a famous Greek trade unionist. He was a member of Central Committee of Greek Communist Party.
