Lawrence Leung
Lawrence Leung (born 25 August 1977) is an Australian comedian, writer, director and actor from Melbourne. He is best known for his television series ''Lawrence Leung's Choose Your Own Adventure'' based his one-man shows on stories about his obsessions, such as breakdancing, ghosts, the Rubik's Cube and his family. The son of Leo and Doris Leung, he grew up in Box Hill, Melbourne. Comedian/Writer Leung has performed in shows in London's West End and at the Edinburgh Fringe festival, as well as having toured Australia extensively. In 2001, his show ''Sucker'' won Best Solo Show at the Melbourne Fringe Festival, and in 2007, his show ''Lawrence Leung Learns to Breakdance'' won the Age Critic's Award for best Australian show at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and the Best Local (Australian) Show at the 2008 Sydney Comedy Festival. Australian Skeptics is a loose confederation of like-minded organisations across Australia that began in 1980. Australian Skeptics investigate paranormal and pseudoscientific claims using scientific methodologies. This page covers all Australian skeptical groups which are of this mindset. Yianni Agisilaou
Yianni Agisilaou (born 5 April 1978) is an Australian-born comedian based in the United Kingdom. His comedy normally takes the form of an illustrated lecture on a single central theme. He is a frequent performer at both the Edinburgh Fringe and the Melbourne Comedy Festival. He has appeared on television shows such as Take The Mike (ITV) and Raw Comedy (ABC). ''Stand Up Australia'' was an Australian comedy TV program locally produced by The Comedy Channel from 2006 to 2008. It was hosted by Cameron Knight, and featured four Australian or international comedians on each one-hour show. Season two was produced in Melbourne, previously the first season was shot at Foxtel's Sydney studios located in North Ryde, where the set and studio was named "The Troubled Bison". The first season went for a marathon 95 episodes and showcased Australia's top comedic talent. ''The Chaser's War on Everything'' is an Australian television satirical comedy series broadcast on the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) television station ABC1. It has won an Australian Film Institute Award for Best Television Comedy Series. The cast perform sketches mocking social and political issues, and often feature comedic publicity stunts. The series is produced by The Chaser, an Australian satirical group consisting of Chris Taylor, Julian Morrow, Craig Reucassel, Andrew Hansen, and Chas Licciardello. Fox FM (call sign: 3FOX) is a commercial FM radio station broadcasting in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, on a frequency of 101.9 MHz, and is the flagship station on Southern Cross Austereo's Hit Network. The station's transmitter is shared with the ATV-10 transmitter on top of Mount Dandenong. History Fox FM started life at 5PM on 1 August 1980. RMITV is a not-for-profit, community access television production facility based at RMIT University City Campus in Melbourne, Australia. It is a full member of the Melbourne Community Television Consortium, a not-for-profit consortium that operates the community access channel C31 which broadcasts throughout Melbourne and Geelong.
