Lawrence B. Marcus
Lawrence B. Marcus (July 19, 1917 – August 28, 2001) was an American screenwriter. He was nominated for an Academy Award in the category Best Adapted Screenplay for the film ''The Stunt Man''. Marcus died in August 2001 of Parkinson's disease at the Motion Picture & Television Fund cottages in Woodland Hills, California, at the age of 84. Beaver, Utah
Beaver is a city in, and county seat of, Beaver County in southwestern Utah, United States. The population was 3,112 at the 2010 census. History Indigenous peoples lived in this area for thousands of years, as shown by archeological evidence. A number of identified prehistoric sites have been found in Beaver County, dating to the Archaic and Sevier Fremont periods. A prehistoric obsidian quarry site has been identified in the nearby Mineral Mountains. The historic Southern Paiute inhabited the region well before encountering the first European explorers. Richard Rush (director)
Richard Rush (April 15, 1929 – April 8, 2021) was an American film director, scriptwriter, and producer. He is known for directing ''The Stunt Man'', for which he received a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Director. His film ''Color of Night'' won a Golden Raspberry Award as the worst film of 1994, but ''Maxim'' magazine also singled the film out as having the best sex scene in film history. Rush, whose directing career began in 1960, also directed ''Freebie and the Bean'', a police buddy comedy/drama starring Alan Arkin and James Caan.
