Richard Theodore Adams (March 17, 1890 – September 24, 1973) was an American film actor who appeared in nearly 200 films between 1926 and 1952. Early life Adams was born in New York City. He appeared with his parents in their vaudeville act and later attended Cornell University. He served in World War I and World War II in the US Navy. Career Adams' film career spanned more than three decades and included roles "on both sides of the law". He worked primarily in B-Westerns, often as a villain. Studios for which he worked included Monogram and PRC, and he was often seen in films that starred Johnny Mack Brown or Bob Steele. Kermit Maynard (September 20, 1897 – January 16, 1971) was an American actor and stuntman. Early years Born in Vevay, Indiana, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Maynard and a lookalike younger brother of actor Ken Maynard; they were frequently assumed to be identical twins. Maynard was a 1916 graduate of Columbus High School in Columbus, Indiana. He graduated with a degree in engineering from Indiana University and played college football as a lineman for the Indiana Hoosiers in the early 1920s. While at the university, he lettered in three sports in one year. After he finished college, Maynard worked as a claims agent for the George H. Hormel Meat Packing Company. Career Often billed as Tex Maynard early in his career, he appeared in 280 films between 1927 and 1962. Carol Henry (July 14, 1918 – September 17, 1987) was an American character actor who played the parts of henchmen in Western films and television series throughout the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s. He also served as a stunt man in various films although all his work in that field went uncredited. Born in Oklahoma, he appeared in an episode of ''Sergeant Preston of the Yukon'' in 1955 as McClain, a murderer. In 1958 he appeared as a posse member in the TV western ''Tales of Wells Fargo'' in the episode titled "Butch Cassidy." Carol Henry died in North Hollywood, aged 69. Lee Roberts (June 17, 1913 – April 24, 1989) was a film actor during the Hollywood Golden Age. Sometimes he is credited as Robert Allen or Lee J. Roberts. Career Little is known about this man who appeared in over 100 films between 1943 and 1959, according to the Internet Movie Database. Roberts, whose career of portraying good guys and bad guys spanned virtually the entire range of Columbia and Republic serials production, delighted serial fans as the classic ''action heavy'', but he could play sympathetic roles with equal skills as a sheriff or a police detective.
