Law Adam
Lawrence "Law" Adam (11 June 1908 – 15 May 1941) was a Dutch-Swiss association football, football player who played as a Forward (association football), forward. He was born in Probolinggo, Dutch East Indies and died in Surabaya, Dutch East Indies. Law Adam is reportedly the first European footballer to use the Step over, Scissors move, also known as the ''step over'', earning the nickname "Adam the Scissorsman" in the 1920s and 1930s. Club career Adam started his football career for HVV Den Haag in the Netherlands. At the age of 19, he started his study in Zürich, where he played for Grasshopper Club Zürich. He made his debut for Switzerland national football team, Switzerland in a match against Austria national football team, Austria in 1929. The Netherlands national football team, Dutch national team visited Switzerland a year later, and Adam was invited to play for his native Netherlands. Switzerland won the match 6–3. Probolinggo
Probolinggo ( id, Kota Probolinggo, mad, Prabâlingghâ) is a city on the north coast of East Java province, Indonesia. It covers an area of 56.67 sq. km, and had a population of 217,062 at the 2010 census and 239,649 at the 2020 census; the official estimate as at mid 2021 was 241,202. It is surrounded on the landward side by Probolinggo Regency of which it was formerly the capital, but it is now not part of the regency. Like most of northern East Java, the city has a large Madurese population in addition to many ethnically Javanese people. It is located on one of the major highways across Java, and has a harbor that is heavily used by fishing vessels. Grasshoppers are a group of insects belonging to the suborder Caelifera. They are among what is possibly the most ancient living group of chewing herbivorous insects, dating back to the early Triassic around 250 million years ago.
