Lavar Edwards
Lavar M. Edwards (born April 29, 1990) is a former American football defensive end. He played college football for Louisiana State University (LSU). He was drafted by the Tennessee Titans in the fifth round of the 2013 NFL Draft. Early years Edwards attended Desire Street Academy high school. He was ranked among the top 40 prospects in the state of Louisiana by Rivals.com. During high school, He was named to the Baton Rouge Advocate's Super Dozen. College career He accepted a scholarship to play at Louisiana State University for coach Les Miles's LSU Tigers football team from 2009 to 2012. In his last two years, he played defensive end behind Barkevious Mingo and Sam Montgomery. Defensive end (DE) is a defensive position in the sport of gridiron football. This position has designated the players at each end of the defensive line, but changes in formation (American football), formations over the years have substantially changed how the position is played. Jerry Gray
Jerry Don Gray (born December 16, 1962) is an American football coach and former player who is the defensive backs coach and passing game coordinator for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League (NFL). Gray played college football at the University of Texas at Austin, where he garnered All-American honors. Thereafter, he played professionally for the Los Angeles Rams, Houston Oilers, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the NFL. Early years Gray was born in Lubbock, Texas. Sam Montgomery
Sidney Sammual Montgomery (born May 25, 1990) is a former American football defensive end. He previously played in the Canadian Football League (CFL) and before that the National Football League (NFL), into which he was drafted by the Houston Texans in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft. He played college football at Louisiana State University, where he earned All-American recognition. Early years Montgomery was born in Greenwood, South Carolina. He attended Greenwood High School, and played for the Greenwood Eagles high school football team. Montgomery also ran track and field in addition to football. He was a member of the high school relay team. He ran a personal best time of 11.34 seconds in the 100 meters at the 2009 Regional 1 Class AAAA. Barkevious Levon Mingo (; born October 4, 1990) is an American football outside linebacker who is a free agent. He played college football at Louisiana State (LSU) and was drafted by the Cleveland Browns sixth overall in the 2013 NFL Draft. He won Super Bowl LI with the New England Patriots. Leslie Edwin Miles (born November 10, 1953) is a former American football coach. He most recently served as the head coach at Kansas. His head coaching career began with the Oklahoma State Cowboys, where he coached from 2001 to 2004. Following that, he coached LSU from 2005 to 2016. Tight End
The tight end (TE) is a position in American football, arena football, and Canadian football, on the offense. The tight end is often a hybrid position with the characteristics and roles of both an offensive lineman and a wide receiver. Like offensive linemen, they are usually lined up on the offensive line and are large enough to be effective blockers. On the other hand, unlike offensive linemen, they are eligible receivers adept enough to warrant a defense's attention when running pass patterns. Desire Street Academy
Desire Street Academy was a 7–12 private school in New Orleans and later Baton Rouge, Louisiana. History The school opened in the upper 9th Ward of New Orleans in 2002. The school was forced to relocate multiple times due to flooding from Hurricane Katrina including moving to Niceville, Florida before settling in Baton Rouge.
